Aug 07, 2015 I'm currently having issues with the HP connection manager. I finally managed to get the application to install on windows 10. Now whenever I open up hp connection manager I receive a message that states 'HP Connection service not installed. Application will exit.' So for this reason I am unable to turn my wireless connection on computer.

Insert the Windows installation USB drive into the computer. Open the USB drive in File Explorer, and then double-click the setup file. If a User Account Control window displays, click Yes. Prerequisites:

- HP Wireless Assistant must be installed.
- HP Multi-WWAN Driver Installer must be installed before installing this
- SoftPaq. (Look for the Qualcomm Mobile Broadband Driver Installer SoftPaq on the HP website.)
- Power to WWAN must be ON (for System Software Manager).

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
