Sunlit Youth is the third studio album by American indie rock band Local Natives, released on September 9, 2016 with Loma Vista Recordings.^[1]

Release[edit]

2014–2018: Sunlit Youth Main article: Sunlit Youth In August 2014, at a concert in Salt Lake City, Utah, as part of the Twilight Concert Series, the band announced that they had already begun work on their third studio album. On April 29, 2016, Local Natives released a new single, 'Past Lives', saying, 'The world is not static, it’s made. LIMITED EDITION VINYL + MERCH. Sour Lemon 10' EP + Tee + Hat + Stress Ball. SOUR LEMON 10' EP. Arras Blue Tie Dye Tee. Sour Lemon Women's Lightweight Crop Hoodie. If Local Natives happens to be one of them, consider yourself lucky. The Los Angeles-based indie band broke out in 2010 with their self-released debut album. With a title like Sunlit Youth.

The album was preceded by the singles 'Past Lives,' 'Villainy,' 'Fountain of Youth,' and 'Coins'.^[2][3][4][5] Before its release, 'Past Lives' was featured in the episode '7th' from the first season of the Netflix series Flaked, which was released on March 11, 2016.
